―About 10 % of the whole clients are international. Mostly from Asia. Chinese clients are the majority among these Asian clients. Some are travelers, and some are traveling back and forth between Japan and China or Taiwan for the work.

How do your customers find your salon?

―Through the internet research, or sometime the receptionist of their hotel make us a call to make reservation. We do not have promotion to the hotels that we assume that they find us by word of mouth or through internet search.

Please tell us about the language ability of the staff.

―A staff can speak both English and Chinese. We also communicate through the hairstyle picture or the translation service application.

What is the popular menu among international customers?

―Many are interested in hair treatment menu. There are 6 different kinds of hair treatment options, and the reasonably priced ones are popular.

Do these international customers ask for the nail care as well?

―Western customers ask for the nail care, for the most case. They prefer the simple and easy take-off manicure than the gel nail. Not many people will ask for both hair and nail at the same visit.

Do you have something you value upon welcoming the international customers?

―I believe that sharing the same image is the most important thing. Since it is difficult to communicate only through verbal, we use the hairstyle images as well.
