About 50% of our clients are visitors and 50% are residents. We have many American, Canadian, and Australian clients.

How well does the staff speak English?

The level of English fluency differs within the staff. When making a reservation, new clients often look at our website and choose a stylist with the desired English proficiency level which is located next to each stylist’s profile picture.

What are some popular, highly requested hair styles?

Currently, the layered style is popular in Japan for both Western and Asian customers. Trending now in color are gradation colors, color using more than one color. We receive many requests of greens and purples in particular. Not all the services provided in a Japanese hair salon will suit foreign clients so how we do the hair is decided after a thorough consultation with the client once they arrive for their appointment.

Are there any special limited services for visitors?

Yes, we have a first time client discount which also comes along with a complimentary carbon soda spa. Travelers enjoy the carbon soda spa because it is a service not usually found in other countries. It is a unique experience that many are pleased by.

Do you have any advice for the Japan visitor, before their actual visit?

We do our best to accept all clients, but our weekends tend to get busy so appointments made ahead of time are greatly appreciated!
